Twelve years ago today, a bold idea officially became reality.

Back in 2013, it STARTED OFF AS 2KJ Records — a fearless concept built on one belief: records could be done differently. At a time when the industry followed formulas, we wanted to challenge them. Be louder. Be fresher. Move culture, not chase it.

12th February 2014, that vision came to life with our very first release — Julio Bashmore – “Peppermint.”

A massive house record. A statement. A signal that we weren’t here to blend in.

We didn’t slow down. We followed it up with releases from Disclosure and SecondCity, helping redefine the sound of modern house music and carving our place in a scene that was exploding across the UK & Ireland.

By 2016, the evolution was undeniable. After a landmark business deal with Sony Music Entertainment, 2KJ Records rebranded and stepped into a new era as OSIKA RECORDS UK & IRE — stronger, sharper, and ready to scale the vision even further into Television & Radio brands. Today we entertain more THEN 800 million individuals every week!
