EMS Completes Full Acquisition of OSIKA RECORDS AMERICA
Today, we are announcing a definitive structural change to our AMERICAN operations. EMS has officially completed a total buyout of OSIKA RECORDS AMERICA in a transaction valued at $120 Million.
Under the terms of this agreement, EMS has fully acquired all assets, catalog rights, and roster contracts. As part of this complete transition, the OSIKA RECORDS AMERICA entity and brand will cease operations and will no longer exist, with all current projects and artists transitioning directly under the NEW EMS MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT banner.
What This Complete Acquisition Means
This is a total corporate consolidation designed to streamline operations and scale our artists' work at a massive global level. Here is how the transition will break down:
Full Brand Dissolution: Moving forward, the name OSIKA RECORDS AMERICA will be retired. All future releases, catalog distribution, and marketing will be issued exclusively under EMS ownership.
Catalog and Roster Transition: The entire music library and active artist roster previously managed by the OSIKA American division are being transferred seamlessly into the EMS global portfolio.
Infrastructure Absorption: EMS will absorb our existing regional operations, merging our talent pipelines with their proprietary international distribution and technology networks.
